2023 Information;

The traditional end to the Cyclo-Cross Season in the South-East, and the Crawley Wheelers once again host the popular LCCA Team Champs at the South of England Showground at Ardingly in Sussex, RH17 6TH. The fantastic course is based around the huge undercover sand-school area of the Abergavenny building and visits to two other outside sand-schools. There is also a large tarmac section where drafting will be an advantage. Laps are quite short so it’s a great event to spectate.

We will be hosting them in the large barn that is covered. The first presentation, for Youth U14,U16 and Under 12/10/8 will follow the morning races at 11.45. The presentation for Junior, Senior and Vet 40/50/60+ riders will follow the afternoon races at 15.45. These will be combined with the on the day Team champs presentations too. For the Overall titles we have a Podium, Prizes and trophies for top 3 in each category.

How to enter? Important!

Please read rules on eligibility of teams below for each race. Each rider is to enter as an individual on the BC website and input their team name in the available section.

If you are entering as a club and there are multiple teams from that club please call A, B, C as appropriate.

If entering as a composite team we encourage creativity of team name.

We suggest that you enter as a team as closely together as possible as entries will only be accepted once all 4 entries are received.

If you are entering as a team of 3 only then we suggest you send an email to admin@londonxleagueresults.co.uk to advise so we can accept the 3 team entries.

Please note that if you do not have a team to race in, we advise that you still enter as we can assist with making up composite teams and everyone will get to race even if on their own.  Please Note – this option is not available for the Open Team champs. You must be in a team of 1st claim club members.

If you have raced in the London and South East League this season we will be using your bike mounted number/timing chip and the back jersey mounted number. If this is your first race then simply go to sign on to collect your number pack. The Team captain must visit Sign on to collect team stickers 1 to 4 to mount on your helmet. It is your team’s choice on who starts in which numbered start bay. Commisaires will be checking at gridding.
