LCCA Team Champs

Ok folks, weve got good news, but also some bad news!... Sadly there will be no Team Champs this season. We had originally planned to host at Cyclopark, but due to the condition of the venue after the National Trophy it needs time to repair and so its not possible.

Behind the scenes we have been working through every possible solution with all our organisers in the last few weeks to find another way to run it, but we're just not able to find a suitable venue. We're genuinely sorry, not just because we know how much you guys love the race, but also because we love running it too!

However its not all doom and gloom! We do still need to have a Prize Presentation for all the Challenge Tires London and South East Cyclo Cross League podiums, the AEIGHT BIKE CO Sussex League podiums, the Regional Champs Medals and to celebrate all the wonderful volunteers that we have had this season...

So, we will be hosting the Prize Presentation at the fantastic Kingdom venue that we used a few years ago, on Saturday 17t Feb from 4pm to 6pm, with doors opening at 3.30pm www.thiskingdom.co.uk/. You can turn up before and enjoy the views, walks and cafe if you're about!

To make an even better day of it, Glen and his AEIGHT BIKE CO/SDWRACING locals will be hosting a ride out in the magnificent local Kent and Sussex trails. It'll be an Off Road Social Ride designed for anyone who's raced our leagues. Cyclo Cross, XC or Gravel bike friendly route (although do consider tyres as Sussex Gravel - Clay at this time of year)! We will create an event page for this with a GPX file, but the ride will be a 2 hour Social Paced spin, aiming to get back in plenty of time for the awards.

Once again, we're truly sorry we couldn't run the Team Champs, which will return next season, and we really hope everyone can join us at Penshurst instead!
