Crystal Palace

Round 3 is once again returning to Crystal Palace Park, with its rich history of racing and venue for CX world championship in 1973. This year the course looks set to take in all the major sites with a start in full view of the Crystal Palace. With a fast start, the riders will sweep past the concert bowl and maze before dealing with a tricky off camber and technical section of steep descents and hairpins. For the first time riders will leave the wooded area and past the skate park with the National Sports Centre and up a steep bank allowing riders the chance to view the rest of the lower park and Memorial Bell. Taking a final view of the Sports Centre the course starts its long uphill slog to the Roman terraces where the race started. Look out for Starro the Conqueror!
