Cyclo-X Regional Development Day 2018 at Cyclopark 15.12.2018

Cyclo-X Regional Development Day 2018

At Cyclopark on Saturday 15th December 2018.

Full Day Coaching session for Junior, Youth A & B riders already racing at regional level and aspiring to National Trophy level competition. Open to riders from the South East, South, Central & Eastern regions.

Organised by Mark Adams, Huw Williams and Luke Anderson, with support from Go-Ride Coaches and volunteer Club Coaches.

The London Cyclo Cross Association (LCCA) have donated £500 to help make this day happen too. Last year former LCCA secretary Jim Crichton passed away and left the association a sum of money in his will. It was agreed at the meeting that the LCCA would “match fund” the money he left us, so they now have a total fund of £2000.00 to spend. It was agreed that this would be spent over a 4-year period, so £500.00 per year to be put back in to the sport to assist youth and Junior development.

There will be a Workshop, and 4 Coaching Stations using the main features of the National Championships Course, and all groups will be supported by an Expert Rider.

Due to limited spaces per region, riders will be selected on eligibility, and will remain pending until the organisers authorise.  Full Payment £25 will only be taken on Authorisation (but be prepared to pay £1 admin fee).

Riders will need their CX Race Bike, Spares, plenty of kit for the Weather on the day, and food and drink.

This is a great opportunity to practice your skills on the actual National Champs course, designed by Huw Williams, ahead of the race, and to get some feedback with the best CX coaches in the 4 regions.
